Cowgirl Corner

Created for girls ages 8 – 11, Cowgirl Corner is a ‘pony sized’ version of Taking the Reins’ larger weekend program.

Utilizing our miniature pony herd, Cowgirls learn how to move safely around horses, as well as how to halter, groom and feed the herd.

Cowgirls also learn how to care for our chickens, ducks, bunnies and goats, using hands-on techniques as well as art and building projects around the farm!

In the garden, Cowgirls learn the importance of good nutrition for themselves as they help with the planting, nurturing and harvesting and learn some basic cooking skills.
