Kaeli is thirteen years old and has been at Taking the Reins for one year. This is her second show; she earned High Point Champion at the first VCHS show!

Kaeli would like you to know, “This horse show means a lot to me because during COVID-19, many activities have been cancelled, and this horse show has given me the opportunity to stay busy. COVID-19 has disconnected me from many after-school activities, animals, friends and family. this horse show has given me the opportunity to reconnect with family, animals, friends and has given me the opportunity to stay busy and distracted from this global pandemic. This horse show showed me that even during this crisis, you can still have fun and enjoy yourself, even if you are wearing a mask.”

Kaeli rode ‘Gunner’ in the Saddle Seat Walk class. Gunner is a 13 year old Arabian and former US National Champion! Kaeli also used ‘Ed’ in her Showmanship class.
